About James

James McCartney was diagnosed with a very rare and life threatening immune disorder when he was just 5 years old. After a ferocious fight James tragically passed away in June 2016. He was 7 years old. JAMES loved life and loved people.

There are a number of ways you can help to ensure that James' legacy lives on.

James' Jar of Gifts - how we help young people

WHAT THE CHARITY DOES

JJOG wants to create opportunities for children and young people throughout the world. We are currently sponsoring a significant number oF YOUNG PEOPLE IN KENYA AND UGANDA. With JJOG's Support they are furthering their education and realising their true potential.

We also support a number of projects in the UK, providing facilities and resources for children and young people that help them to develop their skills and promote their wellbeing.

Our activities all contribute to the underlying ethos of James' Jar of Gifts - that NO CHILD SHOULD EVER GET LEFT BEHIND'
